About Us
Our family farm is located near Kellogg, Iowa, about 45 miles east of Des Moines, south of Interstate 80. The shop is located 15 miles south of I-80 or 7 miles north of Pella. We have been dairy farming for over 32 years and also have a beef herd. We recently sold our dairy herd and are able to devote more time to our machinery business. Because of our farming experience, we have a strong knowledge of tractors and hay equipment. Our business was born out of our need for good used equipment. It grew as we realized other farmers had the same needs as we had. We specialize in forage harvesters and also run our own custom chopping business. We have been buying and selling for the
last 12 years and have built a solid reputation and a lot of trust among buyers
and sellers all around the United States. Van Ko Farms is a family farm
operation that strives to serve all the needs of our fellow farmers.
MECHANIC Our son, Jamie, has extreme talent in the mechanical field. Before the machines are shipped to our customer he thoroughly inspects them over in his shop. He will make changes to meet and exceed our customer's satisfaction. DELIVERY If delivery is requested by our customers we have the ability to do so. Two of our sons, Josh and Joey, spend a great deal of time preparing the equipment for delivery. After the equipment has been properly cleaned we then deliver your purchase to you. We deliver every where.......even over the Rockies!
